Prayer Background Preview

Sign of the Cross

(Sign of the Cross) In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Blurred Backdrop

Use a heavily blurred version of the current image as the backdrop while praying, disabling the blurred backdrop will show the same background as the main menu. On by default.


Dark Mode

Use darker colors for the interface and darken the blurred backdrop while praying. Off by default.


Background Color

Background color you will see on the main menu (and while praying if blurred backdrop is off).

Second Display Blurred Backdrop

Use a heavily blurred version of the current image as the backdrop while praying. On by default.


Theme Second Display

Use the background color and pattern choices from Background settings on the second display.

If this and Second Display Blurred Backdrop are off, the second display will have a black background with no pattern. Off by default.
Caution:
These settings can vastly change the look and behavior of Chaplets and Rosary, use with caution.

Audio

If supported by your device, prayers can be spoken using text to speech technology. See Help for compatibility information. Off by default.

Edge to Edge Prayer Text

Extend the prayer text background all the way to the edge of the screen. Off by default.

Fill Image

In portrait orientation, make the image fill the whole screen background. This will hide some parts of the image and may make the image appear blurry. Off by default.

Open Dyslexic Font

Use the Open Dyslexic font throughout the app. Off by default.

Warning:
We recommend these settings only be changed at the direction of product support. They are all off by default.

Invert Swipe Detection

Internally swap left and right for swipe detection. This will not change any text describing which way to swipe.
Use this setting if swipes are being detected in reverse.

Allow OnTouchStart Buttons

Changes the event required to activate some buttons from "onclick" to "ontouchstart".
This setting may help if a button does not activate when tapped. Some buttons may trigger twice with one tap when this setting is enabled, requiring another tap to perform the action.

Second Display

Chaplets and Rosary can display the prayer, prayer title, and image without any controls in a second browser window or tab.

The main window or tab does not change and is used to control the second window.

You can use the left and right arrow keys on the second display to navigate between prayers once a Chaplet, Novena, Rosary, or Prayer has been started.
